Instead of declaring a mistrial, Judge Whitaker ruled that it wasn’t actually as bad as the defense is making it out to be. Still bad enough for the prosecution to have some consequences, but they aren’t really that dire:

And while this is a better response to the prosecution’s ،k-up than Glanville acting as if it never happened, so،ing feels very wrong about this not being a clear miscarriage of justice because the defense’s lawyer was really good at sleuthing:
